Curcuma Max 30 capsules is a supplement containing turmeric titrated to 95 percent curcumin and black pepper dry extract titrated to 95 percent piperine. The most important chemical components of turmeric rhizome
are the curcuminoids, which include curcumin, demethoxycurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin;
in particular, curcumin is the most abundant and representative component from a pharmacological
perspective. The most interesting properties of curcumin are anti-inflammatory, antioxidant
and recently it has been seen that it may also have anti-cancer efficacy. Some experimental evidence has found more specifically that curcumin acts as an antioxidant by protecting cellular structures from the damaging effects of free radicals, as an anti-inflammatory by reducing the expression of enzymes involved in the inflammatory response, and as an antitumor by inhibiting the process of neoangiogenesis on the one hand and inducing the apoptotic process of malignant cells on the other.

The piperine-curcumin combination improves the bioavailability of curcumin, increasing it
by about 20 times, consequently enhancing the effect of the product.
