Anti-inflammatory properties, with particular tropism for gallbladder and modifying bile composition. It is employed, to reduce the formation of gallstones (and possibly dissolve those already present), to curb gallbladder contractions, as a hypoglycemic, and to protect vessels in arteriosclerosis.
