Tonic, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, depurative, expectorant, sudorific and healing properties. Daisies contain saponins , essential oil, mucilage, tannins, a bitter principle, organic acids and resin. The flowers also contain cosmosiins, which are flavonoids. All of these constituents allow daisies extracts to be used to achieve diuretic effects, to purify and to regulate intestinal functions.
