From the seeds of Melia Azadirachta, a pure oil with known antiseptic, antibacterial, insect repellent and soothing properties is obtained by cold pressing and without the use of solvents. It is an extremely bitter oil that contains various nitrogen and sulfur active compounds, particularly nimbidine, which is responsible for the unmistakable odor. The brown color and pungent odor result from the fact that the oil is presented in its raw, unfiltered state, a factor that enhances its effectiveness.
