For internal use because of its properties: antispasmodic, analgesic, carminative, choleretic and antiseptic, while for external use it boasts properties: aromatizing, refreshing, analgesic, antipruriginous and anti-inflammatory.

Peppermint mother tincture is therefore used for internal use in the treatment of dyspepsia, excessive intestinal fermentations, nausea, headache and intestinal pain. For external use, Peppermint is indicated for soothing itching, inflammation of the mucous membranes,bad breath, neuralgic pains and rheumatic pains.
